About Me

Ever since I was young I have been intrigued by how buildings shape our lives. We all grow up moving from space to space without much thought of to why the spaces we live in and move through perform the way they do. The influence design has over everyday activities is the most important consideration to design, as if you give space the wrong impression it will make it inhabitable.

My time spent studying abroad in Italy showed me the potential that breaking typical societal norms can have on underrepresented communities. This resonates within me in the realm of public housing. I believe we can change the identity public housing has by giving tenants a sense of identity, making them feel as though they have their own space.
